MCCL Transport provides home to school and school to home transportation services for students at St. Monica School in Gżira, acting as the sole coordinator for the school’s transport. By registering, parents/guardians agree to the terms outlined below.
All students must be pre-registered. No student will be allowed on board without being listed on the official driver manifest.
It is the parent's responsibility to provide accurate pick-up and drop-off addresses.
Punctuality: Students must be at the designated pick-up point at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time. The driver is not authorized to wait for late students as this impacts the rest of the route.
Safety: Students will only be dropped off at the agreed location. For primary school students, a parent or authorized guardian must be present at the drop-off point. If no one is present at the drop-off point, the student may remain on the bus. The parent/guardian will be contacted to arrange a suitable pick-up point that does not interfere with the driver's route.
To ensure the safety of all passengers, students must:
Remain seated with their seatbelts fastened at all times.
Refrain from loud noise, bullying, or any behavior that distracts the driver.
Not consume food or drinks (except water) on the vehicle.
Follow all instructions given by the driver or van assistant.
Any vandalism or contravention for failure to use seat belts on the school minibus will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian, and any related costs will be charged accordingly.
MCCL Transport reserves the right to suspend or terminate service for any student who repeatedly violates conduct rules.
Parents must ensure the student understands the safety rules.
Any changes to the student’s schedule, such as absence due to illness, must be communicated to the driver via telephone or WhatsApp by 6:00 a.m. on the same day.
Any bad behaviour or bullying on the minibus must be reported to the school or to Ms Louise so that appropriate action can be taken.
MCCL Transport maintains all necessary insurance and permits required by Transport Malta.
We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, roadworks, weather, or vehicle breakdowns, though we will strive to communicate delays promptly.
We are not responsible for any personal items lost or left behind on the vehicle.
Government Scheme: For students under the Free School Transport Scheme, eligibility and data sharing are governed by the Ministry for Education's policies.
