The joint DCSF DIUS consultation closes on the 9th June 2008.,The consultation document sets out the Government's proposals to move responsiblity for planning and funding of education for 14-19 year olds from the Learning and Skills Council to local education authorities.For more information, a copy of the consultation document (including a summary) and a pro forma response are available on the DCSF website: http://www.dfes.gov.uk/consultations/conDetails.cfm?consultationId=1520
