Northampton - five school buses taken off the road following police checks

The Northampton Chronicle (21st July 2008) reported that of the 35 buses checked by VOSA and NCC five were immediately stopped from continuing journeys due to irregularities with the emergency exits.

The checks were on transport to Moulton, Wollaston, Prince William, and Montsaye secondary schools, involving officers from the Casualty Reduction Partnership, the County Council and the Vehicle Operating Standards Agency.
