Merseyside: proposal for free bus travel

Merseyside is proposing to launch free bus travel for school children, reports the Liverpool Daily Post (22nd May 2008).,The proposals would see all Merseyside pupils given term-time bus passes valid 7.30am to 5.30pm on weekdays. Merseytravel is hoping the Department for Transport will meet the cost.
